Keeping it real.....

I saw this today and it made me laugh. Its funny because I was talking to my friend yesterday about work and careers and stuff. We have both worked in fashion for some time. She is just so pissed off and burnt out with it all that she is gonna do something totally different. We both used to work at the same place and we were laughing and getting grossed out about the way we used to have to work with the client. I said I was sooooo lucky now cos all the people I work with are so nice and I just dont work in that horrible corporate way anymore. So I actually feel that I keep it real all the time!

Stripey Stripey!

Hi! Well today has been a purse day.....
I have been making purses like a crazy woman. I'm stocking up today cos people are buying purses purses purses!

Meet JT.....

Meet JT. He is my new pal who sits on my desk and sometimes poses for picture. Check him out. One of my super neighbours at Sunday Up Market is the creator of these awesome little fellas. I always avoid going to her stall as I know I will end up spending money! Anyway I crumbled yesterday and for a little bit of cash JT was allowed to come home with me. My next door neighbour Reggie named JT after he spent a bit of the afternoon hanging out in Reggies top pocket. If you fancy a new friend come to Sunday Up Market in Brick Lane and purchase one. The problem is there are so many great little characters you wont be able to choose!

I received a lovely lovely email from Allira (what a cool name) the lady behind these fantastic brooches, and a fellow indie designer. I always check my emails when I get up in the morning to check on orders and stuff and a super nice email all the way from Australia was in my in box!

Go and check out her website cos her brooches are fantastic and 10% of the cash you pay for a brooch goes to save-a-dog scheme. How cool is that! I love the cherries and the little boy with the balloon, no wait I love them all!, and look at the lovely packaging with the little dino.......too cute!
