Metal Cats...

I was sent a link to this book via two sources this morning (via the Frankie Magazine newsletter and a friend) and when I had a look at it thought it was too great not to blog about!

The book is called Metal Cats, it was put together by freelance photographer and jeweller Alexandra Crockett.
'Metal cats combines two amazing subjects: the extreme personalities of the metal music scene and their adorable kitties.
Whats not to love about that?
The photo that did it for be is the one below. I love it.
(click to enlarge- its worth it!)

You can get a copy on pre-order via Amazon right HERE Or from the publisher Powerhouse Books right HERE I'm getting one.

Saturday! Crafty Fox Market...

If you have some time on Saturday come and say hi to us at the Crafty Fox Market at The Bussey Building in Peckham, London.
I really love taking part in Crafty Fox. Its a super friendly fun market with lots of excellent designers selling their wares. Its run by Sinead and Stephan a husband and wife team whose hard work organising and promoting the fair really makes it what it is! Its Saturday and Sunday (different designers each day) but we will be there Saturday. Come and say hello and meet the designers :) Click on the link above for all the information you need and see who is selling...

NOW + 4EVA...Architecture in Helsinki

I love Architecture In Helsinki. I first fell in love with their music on a very jet lagged night in L.A at the Fonda Theatre. I had never seen them before (they were supporting another band) who I quite frankly didnt give a shit about seeing after I had seen AIH. Sorry other band.
I have all their albums and was pretty excited to find out they were releasing a new one NOW + 4EVA.
To celebrate the launch of the album they have set up a concept store in Melbourne Central (Melbourne, Australia) where you can listen to and purchase the album and a selection of fantastic products, a result of collaborations with local designers. The products sit perfectly together. I love collaborations.
In a time where in lots of instances we download music and have no contact with an actual 'album' I think this makes a superb interactive shopping experience.

Fantastic resin bangles by Dale Hardiman
I love these 3D Architecture In Helsinki edibles by Lucy McRae The colours are perfect.
Love love love these neoprene bags by Witu

If I was in the area, I would have been there in a shot and would have, without a doubt purchased more than the album! I have listened to the album on Spotify but will order the album online. I'm going to go for vinyl.

Little gifts...

I hope you are all enjoying the sunshine today! Just a very quick post today.
One of my favorite things to do is making your packages pretty. Our packaging has had a little makeover of late and I think it all sits together quite nicely. Anyway, all week this week and last week for those of you who placed orders, we are including a little gift.
If you are ordering look out for yours :)
