stencils...

My BF Anthony and his friend build motorbikes. I have blogged about this before. I help them out with their ads, website, logos etc. Its quite cool because the two of them have ended up with 2 different style logos for each of their bikes.

I have been working on Geoffs most recently. His first race (American style flattrack) is this Saturday and at the moment his bike is still in bits so its a rush job to get his bike ready to race this weekend. As a result his tank and numbers have had to be a DIY job. There hasnt been time to get the number boards done and the tank sprayed stickered and laquered. So Geoff asked me to design a stencil for him based on the font I used for their website. Here is the result.

I hyperventilated slightly when I saw the photo of the number board- the numbers arent in the middle!! But I really like how they have come out. DIY is the way to go!

Sun in your eyes?

Wow! We are so happy with our new little range of sunnies! Check out the Lady Spy, Farrah and Weird Science styles! I can tell you they were flying out yesterday and lots of boys were buying the Weird Science and Lady Spy too! Maybe they should be called the Uni-Spy!
Enjoy!

All about the graphic novel....

When I went to see Kick-Ass I saw the trailer for Scott Pilgrim V. the World. I knew it was based on a graphic novel so I decicied to hunt it down. With the demise of Borders (RIP) I had to go to Waterstones. Scott's stories come in volumes I discovered. Waterstones only had 3 and 4. Rubbish!
So I went online, and my new fave book shop is the Book Depository. Its super cheap! I bought some Japan travel books earler this year and they were way cheaper than Waterstones so I went back there. Paying £5 instead of £8 for a book...how can you go wrong.
So after a long winded ramble (Im good at them) the moral is Scott Pilgrim = awesome go and read! Oh and buy them from BD they are much cheaper. I'm fired up for volume 2 the books are a lot of fun!

Back and shippin'

Hi People,

Well, CM HQ is in full swing again after our little trip away last week. Shipping is back to normal. Whats been going on, well I have been in Croatia. Anthony my BF was racing in a rally there.

I have a new policy- any opportunity to do something cool I go with it, especially if it involves going to a country I have never been before. Life is not all about work although when you run your own business sometimes it seems that way! So this month was Croatia, next month is a new road trip...cant wait. Anyway Croatia is a beautiful country full of really friendly people. Go off the beaten track though and signs of the war are everywhere. Very sad. Go there, its a great country and the sea is beautiful. I ate calamri every day!

So I am back and work is ON! There was a lot of packages of fabric to open upon my return so there will be some new bits coming up. Also jewellery findings so new jewellery coming up.

Also Custom Made will be taking part in We Make London's Summer fair. So we will be preparing for that very soon.
We also have some other exciting things coming up but we will let you know about those later!
So keep your eye on the site and remember you can be a fan on FACEBOOK and folow us on TWITTER.

Thanks a lot
Anna
