Jim Jones Revue - Rock'n'Roll Psychosis

I am very excited to be going to a Jim Jones Review show tonight...should be fun!

Working on some drawings...

Update: I think I'm liking the brown again....back to the drawing board!

The brown one was how she started out, and the one on the right is still bald for now. She will get hair eventually I think! Stuff really started to take shape when I changed the brown to black.

I'm pretty excited about these drawing cos when they are finished they are going to be printed for brooches....I cant really elaborate on the process right now as I dont know that much about it.

I really love our little dolly brooch but I really wanted to design something for the range as a little homage to that I suppose.

They are still very much in the design stage and to be honest they may end up completely different for the production run. It sort of shows my process though. Here's a little peek for now....

This morning I have been blown away...

This is the work of Brandon Shigeta, the photos are from an exhibition of his work at a gallery in Tokyo. The pieces are all made from recycled skateboard decks. I am blown away by this guy...amazing.

Great video...

My friend Ian just sent me this video...I really like it. Its somehow relaxing, dreamy and very pretty. I like the colours of the 'wizzard smoke' It was odd to get a sensible email from Ian, he usually emails me to tease me or send silly reply to emails sent to the Custom Made mailing list memebers. Thank you Ian!

Graphic duty for Co-Built....

As well as Custom Made I seem to have been draughted into graphic duties for Anthony's company Co-Built. Anthony and his two friends build custom motorbikes. They are pretty damn cool.
I dont think its my graphic skills that have brought me into this but more the lack of them having to pay for the work I do!
Anyway here is the latest little job I have done with Anthony 'modelling' it. His big ass banner.
I am also working on tank stickers for the next bike and their website...
